Pongal Celebration – Villupuram Branch

Pongal celebration always start with mulaipari (sprouting of nine grains in a basket or mud pot). It is a very important ritual, which takes place at almost every Pongal celebration. On account of theis event students from grade 1 to 8 from Villupuram branch have started the mulaipari competition. It is believed that based on the sprouting of grains the achievement and greatness of that place will flourish.
