French National Day Celebration
- Categories News&Events
- Date July 13, 2024
On the eve of French National Day (July 13, 2024, Saturday), retired French soldiers and school students participated in “Marché aux Flambeaux” – a torchlight procession on the Beach Road, White Town. The participants celebrated the occasion by singing both the Indian and French national anthems together. The procession featured both the French and Indian flags, symbolizing a blend of cultures and heritage. Every year, our school takes part in this procession, having been invited by the French Consulate of Pondicherry. This year, students from the Poraiyur, Vivekam, Gurugram, and Bharathidasan branches participated in the procession. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who assisted us in participating in this event.
