
Successful CPR Awareness & Training Program

The School CPR Program, organized under the ILA – Involve, Learn, Act initiative, was successfully conducted on 24th April 2026 at Aditya Vidyashram Residential School, Puducherry.
The program was conducted in association with Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
The session was led by a Senior Doctor from JIPMER, along with a Neurologist and a team of trained instructors, ensuring expert guidance throughout. The program began with an introductory session, followed by a detailed presentation and video demonstration on “Hand-only CPR.”
Participants actively engaged in hands-on training sessions, enhancing their practical life-saving skills.
An assessment was conducted to evaluate participants’ understanding, and a demonstration on the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) further enriched the learning experience.
The program concluded with the distribution of certificates and badges, marking a meaningful step towards promoting emergency preparedness and empowering students and staff to respond effectively in critical situations
