Our Students Shine at Young Transformational Leadership Programme

“Empowering young minds to become visionary leaders, our school recently participated in the Young transformational Leadership programme. This transformative initiative, hosted by the Coimbatore Sahodaya Schools Complex, ignited a spark of leadership potential within our student council members, inspiring them to become change- makers of tomorrow.

On Saturday, 19th October, five members of our school’s student council participated in the Young Transformational Leadership Programme, hosted by the Coimbatore Sahodaya Schools Complex. This exceptional programme featured esteemed speakers who inspired and educated the student leaders on the fundamentals of authentic leadership.

The speakers elucidated the principles of transformational leadership, highlighting key elements such as creative vision, diplomacy, mindfulness, effective problem-solving, and informed decision-making. Emphasis was placed on the importance of self-discipline, emotional intelligence, compassion, empathy, resilience, integrity, and truthfulness in exemplary leaders.

Through engaging discussions, interactive activities, and targeted games, the students developed their leadership skills, exploring diverse approaches to problem-solving and the characteristics of effective thought leadership. The programme emphasized the need for 21st-century leaders to be technologically adept, socially aware, and skilled in managing digital platforms.

Furthermore, the speakers stressed the value of collaborative and cooperative leadership, emotional intelligence, and the ability to navigate complex social dynamics. By fostering these qualities, young leaders can become inspiring and influential figures, capable of making a profound impact in their communities.”
