NCC Day Celebration

The Combined Annual Training Camp 2019 conducted by 1 (P) Air Sqn NCC started on 23 May 19 with the strength of 227 Junior Division Boy & Junior Wing Girls along with 06 Associate NCC Officers and 13 PI staff at Aditya Vidyashram School, poraiyur, Villinaur under the guidance of Wing Commander Manoj V Mudliar, Camp commandant. Various activities were conducted during the camp period. Flying experience to cadets was given on Zen Microlite aircraft by Wing Commander Manoj V Mudliar, Commanding Officer of 1 (P) Air Sqn NCC. Lecture on Fire safety, Cyber Security, Health & Hygiene and road safety were also conducted by Rohith Chandra Additional Divisional fire Officer, Mr. Shanmugam, Inspector, Cyber Crime cell, Dr. Gunasekaran Chief Medical Officer, PHC Villinaur and Mr, Murgian , Inspector of police respectively on different days during the camp.

Day route march and Night route march as a part of training programme were also conducted to spread the awareness about social activities i.e Swachh Bharat, Save Girl Child. Tree plantation was also carried out inside the campus of School in which approximately 150 saplings were also planted by the cadets. Sports activities were also conducted during the camp like 100 mtr race, Cross Country, Volleyball & Throw ball.On 31 May the camp fire was organized on the culmination of camp. Mr. C. Anandane, The Founder of Aditya Vidyashram was the chief guest during the camp closing ceremony. Cadets have performed varieties of cultural activity during the ceremony. The prizes were also given to winners of different activities by the chief guest.
