International Yoga Day
The International Yoga Day aims to further awareness vis-à-vis the immeasurable benefits of the age old practice of Yoga. The term yoga, derived from the Sanskrit signifies union. Union of the body and the mind. Union with the cosmos and its universal powers. Yoga strives to align one’s entire being.
To commemorate this significant day, the students of AVRS enthusiastically weaved together a mass Yoga demonstration accompanied by the chanting of the all-pervasive ‘Om’.
The mass display permeated the body and mind of each youthful Adityan. It was an occasion to connect, to be one with the infinite forces of Mother Nature. To invoke Her to rejuvenate mind, body and soul and purge each pearly thought and progressive action.
