Field trips boost education by providing hands – on learning experiences that stimulate curiosity and engage students actively. It exposures to new environments, cultures and ideas broadens students perspectives and fosters critical thinking. Today grade 8 students of Poraiyur were on field trip to Arikamedu, Archaeological Site. Arikamedu, the capital of Maurya Empire, as the “Mother of all bead centers in the world “. Students have visited archaeological site as well as a part of community service students enthusiastically involved in shramdaan activity also.
