Exploring the Roots of Sustainability : Research Station Visit

Today, 29th July 2024, a total of 207 students from Class 10, Gurugram B1 & B2 campuses, embarked on an enlightening field trip to the Oil Seed Research Station in Thindivanam During their visit, they delved into the world of oil seed cultivation, exploring the sapling nursery and discovering various types of crops. The students also gained insight into sustainable practices at the organic compost unit, where they learned how waste is transformed into natural fertilizer. The vast seed storage facility highlights the significance of proper storage techniques. This trip proved to be an enriching experience, imparting valuable knowledge about agriculture, sustainability, and research. The students returned with renewed enthusiasm and a deeper understanding of these crucial aspects.
