Raksha Bandhan is a cultural festival celebrated during the Sawan month or the month of August. This is a holy occasion for commemorating the bond between brothers and sisters. Students and teachers from Grade 1 to 8 from villupuram branch observed this day, sisters(female students) tie a thread or a rakhi for their brothers'(male students) wrists to symbolise their bond. It is a symbolism of the unique and special relationship shared by the two. This day has been rightly recognized to have a good time and focus on this beautiful bond.
