The Tamil New Year
At AVRS, the advent of the Tamil New Year referred to as the Puthandu or the Puthuvarusham signifies channelizing one’s inner forces, reenergising mind, body and soul to welcome a year filled with knowledge, experience and success.
On this momentous day, the Joint Directors and the Director of the Co-scholastic Activities Department showered their bounteous benediction on the cherubs and angels of the primary section who presented an array of cultural events, in the form of a Bharatnatyam spectacle, mellifluous vocal renditions and commendable music recitals on the multifaceted keyboard, the reverberating Tabla and the soulful Veena.
The celebrations concluded with a heartfelt rendition of the National Anthem.
