Ganesh Chaturthi

The installation of the beautifully hand-carved statue of Lord Ganesha by the eminent sculptor himself, Mr. Shri.V. K. Munusamy and his noble presence at the Aditya Vidyashram Poraiyur Campus on this auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi was indeed an event in itself.

The celebrations began by invoking Lord Ganesha, the God who destroys all obstacles, the elephant-headed God, the God who presides over all ceremonies.

What ensued was a colourful and aesthetic mosaic of prayer and praise for a God who is worshipped in myriad ways and forms. Through dance, music and art, the gifted students of AVRS displayed their love and adoration for their beloved Lord Ganesha.
