Moreover, embedded deep into the innermost recesses of Indian tradition is the godly dance form, the cosmic dance of Lord Shiva, the Bharatnatyam. AVRS strives endlessly to impart this ancient knowledge, this art, this dance form to the very talented students. Like many previous years, even this year, a great number of students performed their Arrangetram at the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Auditorium located at JIPMER. It was a feast for the eyes and a purging of the soul to witness live musicians and vocalists accompanying the dance performances stretching over hours. Indeed, holistic education at its very best.
